Stargirl

Far beyond the earth I dream

a Stargirl on a bright moonbeam

in deep space I rendezvous

exploring vast to find what’s true

effortlessly moving in a faceless mask

where one world ends, and another starts.

 

In splendid astronaut white

I probe outside the rim of night

dodging random shooting stars

far beyond Jupiter or Mars

exploring where the planets were wrought

‘til everything explodes to naught.
