It’s difficult to explain

And I doubt you will understand

This feeling of having it all

Knowing that you are perfection

Still, I wake at dawn

And struggle throughout the day

Thinking I’ve let you down

My imperfect reflection

 

But you help me to deconstruct

Reality and perception

You teach me how to trust

My imperfect perfection
